Configuring Wi-Fi on the EVBox Charger using the Connect App

How to configure the Wi-Fi using the EVBox Connect app

What's happening?

  • You want to set up a Wi-Fi connection to the station

What do you need to get started?

  • Stations used:
    • EVBox BusinessLine G4 or newer
    • EVBox Elvi G4 or newer
    • EVBox Iqon G4 or newer
  • The EVBox Connect app is installed on your smartphone or tablet
  • You've connected your station to the EVBox Connect app
  • Your station is powered on
  • Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet

What can you do?

  1. Open the EVBox Connect app
  2. Select the station
  3. Click Charging station settings > Wi-Fi Connection > Connect to Wi-Fi
  4. Select the Wi-Fi network and click Continue
  5. Provide the Wi-Fi password when requested
  6. Click Done after the station is connected to Wi-Fi successfully

The Wi-Fi connection settings only appear if the station is set to work online

What happens next?

  • A pop-up may appear requesting the station to be rebooted
  • After reboot, the new settings are applied
  • Perform a test charge session
  • If you are facing issues contact Support
