Report and Fix Damaged Varistor Issues on Your EVBox ELVI Charger

How to report damaged varistors on an EVBox Elvi

What's happening?

  1. Burned material and burst rubber protection in the varistors area of the wall dock
  2. Smoke and explosion trace on the transparent plastic wall dock cover

What do you need to get started?

  1. Stations used:
    1. EVBox Elvi

What can you do?

  1. Open a case with CATEC Support, sharing the following:
    • Pictures of the damage
    • A picture of the station label from the backside of the station cover or the Station ID (starts with EVB)
    • Commissioning report
  2. The damage should look similar to the pictures below

What happens next?
