How to prevent a tripping fuse

What's happening?

  1. The main installation breaker trips
  2. The thermal-magnetic breaker is disarmed
  3. The main fuse box is disarmed
The problem doesn’t occur in the fuse box

What do you need to get started?

  1. Stations used:
    1. EVBox BusinessLine
    2. EVBox Elvi
    3. EVBox HomeLine
    4. EVBox Iqon
    5. EVBox Livo
    6. EVBox PublicLine

What can you do?

If fuses keep tripping or if a fuse blows, the connected devices or groups are using or demanding more power than the fuse box or group can handle. Most stations can be set to a lower power setting to avoid these problems.
  1. Check the station Item code (Article number) information available on the station label
  2. Look up the code in the Product Type Guide to identify the capacity
  3. Check the technical information (maximum current) of the breakers being used
  4. Check if an earth leakage module is used and what the maximum current is
