How to set a station to use the charge card via the EVBox Connect app


What's happening?

  • You want to use your charge card to allow the station to charge your vehicle
  • Your station is connected to a backend

What do you need to get started?

  • Stations used:
    • EVBox BusinessLine G4 or newer
    • EVBox Elvi G4 or newer
    • EVBox Iqon G4 or newer
  • The EVBox Connect app is installed on your smartphone or tablet
  • You've connected your station to the EVBox Connect app
  • The station is powered on
  • Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet

What can you do?

  1. Open the EVBox Connect app
  2. Select the station
  3. Click Charger Access Control > Swipe card/key fob to start > Save
  4. Go back to the main menu and click Cards > Add new charge card
  5. Scan the RFID code or enter the RFID code manually. Find the RFID on the back of your charge card, right above the barcode
  6. Click Save
  7. Go back to the main menu and click Installer Mode
  8. Enable the setting Set charger to online and click Save
  9. Go to Charging Management Platform
  10. Select the desired backend from the dropdown list. By default, Everon is selected  
  11. Click Save
