Fixing Water Damage in a Cable Plug | Solutions

How to solve water damage in the cable plug

What do you need to get started?

  • The Station ID (starts with EVB)
  • A picture of the issue
  • A picture of the label placed on the cable

What can you do?

  1. Check your cable plug to see if there is water damage visible inside
  2. If there is, the cable should be replaced, please  reach out for additional support.

What happens next?

In order to properly maintain the cable:
  • Regularly clean the cable plug pin if it’s being used often, or for a long time
    Example: every two weeks, each month
  • After raining, open the rubber cap and check if there is water accumulation inside, if yes, pour it out and use a tissue to dry the plug pin
