Troubleshoot a Faulty LED Ring on Your EVBox ELVI Charger

How to troubleshoot a faulty LED ring

What's happening?

  1. LED turns multiple colors at the same time
  2. LED is pink
  3. LED is purple
  4. LED ring does not light up completely
  5. LED does not turn on
  6. LED does not work while charging
  7. LED does not work while the station is available
Note: G4 stations can light up purple when pairing with Bluetooth using the EVBox Connect App.

What do you need to get started?

  1. Stations used:
    1. EVBox BusinessLine
    2. EVBox Elvi
Note: All AC stations with a fixed cable use the same type of LED ring, except the EVBox Elvi station.

What can you do?

  1. LED rings should only show one color at a time
  2. If the LED ring shows no colors at all, check if the station is powered on
  3. If the station is powered on and the LED ring shows multiple colors, or no colors at all, take a picture and reach out to CATEC Support
